Individual Coaching: Professional & Personal

Through biweekly coaching sessions, you will learn about yourself, the assumptions you may be making that are getting in your way, and become a better leader and person through personal reflection.

I have successfully coached clients around these topics: 

  • Maintaining momentum and energy for their work; avoiding burnout; overall well-being and wellness

  • Leading teams

  • Building relationships and trust

  • Improving communication with colleagues and supervisors

  • Learning more about themselves and their leadership styles

Sessions are conducted over the course of four to six months, typically biweekly. Coaching is done remotely so you can sit or stand in your most comfortable space. Some sessions can include outdoor coaching at client’s discretion. See more about outdoor coaching below.

Outdoor Coaching for Individuals & Groups

I call it Nature Roaming™. Walking outdoors, in the woods, in a park, around your neighborhood. Let’s go outside in person (COVID-safely) or on the phone together.

Outdoor coaching can cover any topic that can be covered in personal and leadership coaching. It’s the surroundings that change. You’ll also experience new insights from being in nature.

Benefits of outdoor coaching include:

  • Moving your body and focusing your mind can lead to new ideas.

  • The natural environment can shed light on issues you want to work through, leading to aha moments.

  • Combines the power of nature with guided coaching resulting in expanded self-awareness.

  • Gives you the time to reconnect with yourself.

If you are outdoors a lot, you are probably on the move, on the go, looking at the trail or getting from point A to point B. With Nature Roaming, you slow down, use all your senses and focus on yourself. Coaching enhances the outdoor experience. Movement provides a different dimension to coaching.

If you are not outdoors on a regular basis, this can be a new experience, a new adventure. Maybe you’re curious what this is all about, maybe you’ve been wanting to get outside more often, and maybe you just need to give yourself permission to do it. Nature Roaming™ is not scary, it’s not extreme. It’s experiencing nature while being coached and while moving. It’s a way to use all of your senses and feel the expanse of the outdoors.
