Frequently asked questions

What is coaching?

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

How is coaching helpful?

Coaching gives you time to think, out loud, with someone who does not have an agenda other than to listen to you, support you and challenge you with compassion. It helps you get clarity on issues that were once murky and to embrace change—whether that change is of your making or the inevitable change that is part of life and business. Coaching provides accountability and it helps you design your next steps and take action.

What could I be coached on?

I’ve coached clients on a broad range of topics, including:

  • Finding your purpose

  • Identifying your unique leadership skills

  • Having uncomfortable conversations

  • Seeking clarity on your personal brand

  • Making a major change in your life (professional or personal) such as changing careers, retiring or starting a business

  • Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out professionally or personally and seeking balance

Regardless of topic, I help you find clarity out of chaos and make a plan to move forward.
